Part number E80PC338 is an AS568-338 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.1 in (78.74 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.52 in (89.41 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
