-003 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

The E80PC003 is an AS568-003 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), a cross section of 0.06 in (1.52 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and brake fluid. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, water and steam systems, and potable water applications.
