-047 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-047 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC047. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for very good flexibility at low temperature, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

Typical settings include water and steam systems, potable water applications, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
