-126 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

Part number E80PC126 is an AS568-126 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.362 in (34.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.568 in (39.83 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, water and steam systems, and solar and roofing assemblies.
