EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
