-162 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

The E80PC162 is an AS568-162 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, outdoor equipment, and potable water applications.
