The E80PC172 is an AS568-172 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.237 in (209.22 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.443 in (214.45 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

Typical settings include water and steam systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and potable water applications.
