-248 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-248 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC248. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.
