-256 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

The E80PC256 is an AS568-256 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.

Common environments for this compound include brake and phosphate ester systems, outdoor equipment, and potable water applications.
