E80PC258 is an AS568-258 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is valued for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
