-259 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

Ordered as E80PC259, this is an AS568-259 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and ketones. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include solar and roofing assemblies, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
