The E80PC281 is an AS568-281 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.984 in (380.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.262 in (387.65 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include solar and roofing assemblies, water and steam systems, and potable water applications.
