-379 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

APG stocks the E80PC379, an AS568-379 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.395 in (289.43 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, outdoor equipment, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
