E80PC438 is an AS568-438 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
