-446 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-446 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.025 in (229.24 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC446. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and water and steam systems.
