APG stocks the E80PC904, an AS568-904 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.351 in (8.92 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.495 in (12.57 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The compound resists ketones, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.

It sees regular use in solar and roofing assemblies, HVAC and refrigeration, and outdoor equipment.
