E80PC906 is an AS568-906 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.468 in (11.89 mm), a cross section of 0.078 in (1.98 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.624 in (15.85 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
