-916 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-916 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.403 in (35.64 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC916. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
