The E80PC928 is an AS568-928 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.09 in (53.09 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.326 in (59.08 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, outdoor equipment, and potable water applications.
