305EBR is an Ever-Tite Brass Part E Male Adapter x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling with a 1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a male adapter end. Source specification: Does Not Interchange With Toughtite.

Brass is specified here for good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints, good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service. This material stands up to atmospheric exposure, corrosion in water service, and moderate pressure. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water.
