SFDA1.5X11.5 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.5 mm (0.453 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 14.5 mm (0.57 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. As a material, Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.
