The SFDA2X28 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 28 mm (1.102 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 32 mm (1.26 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. Source specification: FDA Compliant TO 21CFR Sec 177-2600, Metric O-RING.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service.
