APG stocks the TES70282, an AS568-282 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for strong resistance to permeation and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. This material stands up to steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, chemical processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
