This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 110 mm (4.331 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 117 mm (4.61 in), catalogued under part number V3.5X110. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
