The substance the product is made from — chosen based on application requirements like durability, temperature, pressure, or chemical/corrosion resistance.
Unit of Measure
The nominal size of the product, typically indicating dimensions (width x length) or the diameter of the hose that a coupling fits.
The depth or gauge of the material, typically in inches or millimeters — influences flexibility, durability, performance, compression, and application suitability.
The specific design or model of the coupling, often identified by a part number or style (e.g. quick connect, camlock).
The horizontal measurement of the sheet's surface across its shorter side.
Years of experience have taught APG how to manufacture quality flat glass. Flat glass is the most commonly used glass for viewing liquid levels in industrial applications. All flat industrial glass is designed to be used in armored-type liquid level gauges and can be cut to your exact specifications.
APG offers industrial flat glass in three types. The Type A Plainglass is designed for moderate-pressure steam boilers and liquid level indicators. The Type A high-pressure flat glass is designed for high-pressure applications and harsh service environments. This glass is rated for non-steam applications up to 5,000 PSI. Lastly, the Type B Reflex is made for extra ease in locating liquid levels. Type B reflex glass has vertical prisms extending the full viewing length of the glass. This glass is optimal for long-sight distance liquid level indicating.
Make sure to use APG’s quality flat glass for all your moderate or high-pressure situations.
For your low-pressure applications, APG offers fully customizable annular glass. APG also offers a range of sealing and plastics, like o-rings and headgear.
