This o-ring is supplied in AS568-120 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.987 in (25.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.193 in (30.3 mm), catalogued under part number V60FDA120. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
