The V60FDA230 is an AS568-230 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.484 in (63.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.762 in (70.15 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in aerospace, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
