APG stocks the V60FDA001, an AS568-001 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and aerospace.
