Ordered as V60FDA108, this is an AS568-108 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.237 in (6.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.443 in (11.25 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
