V60FDA226 is an AS568-226 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.984 in (50.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.262 in (57.45 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.
