-018 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

The V70018 is an AS568-018 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
