This o-ring is supplied in AS568-027 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm), catalogued under part number V70027. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
