Part number V70371 is an AS568-371 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.
