The V70902 is an AS568-902 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.064 in (1.63 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.367 in (9.32 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, aerospace, and chemical processing.
