-005 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-005 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.101 in (2.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.241 in (6.12 mm), catalogued under part number V70005. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
