-007 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

The V70007 is an AS568-007 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.145 in (3.68 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.285 in (7.24 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
