V70022 is an AS568-022 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
