This o-ring is supplied in AS568-034 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.114 in (53.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.254 in (57.25 mm), catalogued under part number V70034. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
