Ordered as V70042, this is an AS568-042 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
