This o-ring is supplied in AS568-104 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.112 in (2.84 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.318 in (8.08 mm), catalogued under part number V70104. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
