The V70112 is an AS568-112 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.487 in (12.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.693 in (17.6 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
