APG stocks the V70116, an AS568-116 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
