This o-ring is supplied in AS568-124 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm), catalogued under part number V70124. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
