Ordered as V70136, this is an AS568-136 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
