This o-ring is supplied in AS568-144 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm), catalogued under part number V70144. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
