This o-ring is supplied in AS568-146 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm), catalogued under part number V70146. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
