APG stocks the V70149, an AS568-149 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
