-160 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V70160, this is an AS568-160 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.237 in (133.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.443 in (138.25 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
