Ordered as V70169, this is an AS568-169 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
