The V70175 is an AS568-175 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.987 in (228.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.193 in (233.5 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
